Celebrate the 16th Annual Everett Film Festival Feb. 8 & 9

EVERETT - The 16th Annual Everett Film Festival will kick off with a Gala at 6 p.m. Friday Feb. 8 at the Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave. in downtown Everett.

6:00-7:15 pm Gala

7:20-7:25 Opening Remarks

7:25-7:30 Crumb Catchers by Katherine Rogers
A snack in the park can get out of control.

7:30-8:50 Somewhere Between directed by Linda Goldstein Knowlton
Follow the lives of four teenage girls adopted from China and learn how it is to be “Somewhere Between”. After the film, local families will share their adoption stories.

8:55-9:05 Break

9:10-10:05 The Legend of Pancho Barnes directed by Amanda Pope
Feature documentary of Florence “Pancho” Barnes, a tough and fearless aviatrix, competitor of Amelia Earhart, and Hollywood’s first female stunt pilot. Her story is largely unknown…until now.View website.
