Each year since 1988, the City of Everett has devoted $3 per resident to human needs. For 2010, $310,500 in funding is available to local agencies through a competitive grant process. 

The Human Needs Advisory Committee, made up of community members, meets each October to review applications and award grants to non-profit agencies that render services in Everett to the City’s residents.
