Stormwater Management Program

The City of Everett has developed a Stormwater Management Program to meet the requirements of the Western Washington Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permit. Click on the link above to view the updated 2010 Stormwater Management Program document. You may also call 425-257-8800 to have a copy mailed to you.

The City’s Stormwater Management Program document describes actions the city will take through the year 2011 to maintain compliance with the Permit's Stormwater Management Program conditions, which are designed to reduce stormwater runoff pollution to Everett's waterways.

Click the following link to view the City of Everett 2009 Annual Report. This report includes: Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) status 2010, 2009 TMDL Data Report, TMDL Wood and Silver Creek flows and the Certification document.

The Municipal Stormwater Permit is a requirement of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permits Program in the Federal Clean Water Act. Permit authority in Washington State has been delegated to the State Department of Ecology. Ecology issued a Phase II Municipal Stormwater General Permit to more than 100 municipalities, including Everett, in early 2007.
