City Council Meetings are held every Wednesday evening. The weekly meetings, except for the fourth Wednesday of each month, begin at 6:31 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, 3002 Wetmore Ave. The fourth Wednesday of each month the meeting begins at 12:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 3002 Wetmore Ave.
Everett City Council meetings are recorded for rebroadcast on government-access cable Comcast Channel 21 and Frontier Channel 29 at 12 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday; 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Thursday; 7 p.m. on Friday and Sunday; and 10 a.m. on Saturday.
At the beginning of each meeting, the City Council President will ask the audience if anyone wants to address the council on items that are not on the agenda. Public comments are limited to three minutes unless arrangements are made prior to the meeting.

Everett City Council agendas can be found, in their entirety, on the City of Everett Web Page at www.everettwa.org utilizing the City Services dialog box, and selecting City Council. An agenda is created for each meeting and posted in the main lobby of City Hall as early as the Thursday before each meeting and the Herald on Saturday.
Minutes of each meeting are also transcribed, approved by Council and maintained in the City Clerk's office. These minutes contain general meeting information and record specific actions taken by the Council.
The City Council members come together as a committee of the whole under the briefing section of the weekly to agenda. This is an opportunity for council members to ask pertinent questions on matters which will come forward on a future agenda. The public is also encouraged to ask any questions they may have on these topics limiting their questions to 3 minutes.
