This is an urban neighborhood park with open space and an enticing playground. 

Lions Park Re-opening Celebration, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15

Join in the fun as the Pinehurst/Beverly Park Neighborhood Association hosts a celebration to mark the re-opening of Lions Park. Ribbon cutting with Mayor Ray Stephanson is at 10 a.m. Clowns will entertain with balloon animals and face painting from noon to 1 p.m. Enjoy live music with the Jillian Graham Band and participate in organized games and raffle drawings. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the day!

 

Nearly $1 million in improvements have been made to this 3 1/3 acre neighborhood park including a new playground, open field and walking paths.
