Permit Services is responsible for administration and enforcement of all building-related codes, utility connections for sewer and water, and development activity files for building and public works permits. The Planning Department determines that the use is permitted in the zone and complies with the City of Everett Zoning Code.
Building permits The purpose of a building permit is to review a proposed project to comply with the minimum requirements of the codes adopted by the City of Everett. Other than finish work, such as carpet or paint, generally a building permit will be required.
