Public Meetings re: November Service Change
Everett Transit is in the process of planning the November service change and welcomes your input. We are currently scheduled to present an overview of our plans at the Port Gardner neighborhood association meeting on September 13, Delta neighborhood meeting on September 21 and the Pinehurst neighborhood meeting on September 28. If you would like Everett Transit to present to your neighborhood meeting or social group, please call our Outreach Coordinator, Matt Coomes at 425-257-7780 or email mcoomes@ci.everett.wa.us. We are available for presentations during the month of September and will work hard to meet your schedule. In addition to group meetings, Everett Transit will host two public presentations at the Everett Station. The presentations will be held in the Mt. Baker Room (Room 425, 4th floor) at Everett Station on Wednesday, September 22 at 5 p.m. and Wednesday, September 29 at 3 p.m. Each presentation is expected to last approximately 10 minutes and there will be time afterward for questions and discussion.

Boeing Gate 77 Not Served

Effective June 13, 2010, Everett Transit Route 3 and Route 70, along with all Community Transit routes stopped serving Boeing Gate 77. The closest bus stop is located at Gate 78 and a new stop has been added on North Perimeter Road at Seaway Blvd. Buses are scheduled to serve the new stop approximately one minute earlier than they were at Gate 77.

Fare Change
Effective June 1, 2010, Everett Transit fares on commuter routes (routes 70 and 79, respectively) will increase by .25 cents to $1.75 per trip, in conjunction with Community Transit’s fare change. ET’s regular, local routes and paratransit service fares will remain unchanged. Passengers using ORCA cards on commuter routes may want to update their monthly pass beginning in June to reflect the new rates. (Example: If currently purchasing a $54.00 pass, you will change to a $63.00 monthly.) Sound Transit is also re-structuring their fares beginning June 1, for more information about Sound Transit’s fares, please click here.

ET Bus Schedule & Service Guide Corrections
The current ET Bus Schedule & Service Guide, effective March 28, 2010, incorrectly indicates that route 25 will stop at bay F1 at Everett Station. Route 25 stops at bay E1 instead. Route 29 South is shown as using bay E1, but has been assigned to bay F1. We apologize for the inconvenience. Correct signage has been posted at the bus bays at Everett Station. For trip planning or assistance please contact customer service at 425-257-7777.
